Why can't I have Dairy, Honey, Mushrooms, Soda or Alcohol during the cleanse? Before you do a cleanse your intestines are not only line with waste. If you don not eat an extremely fibrous diet, that waste is layering on the lining of your intestine. Medically, what happens is that waste has toxins in it and it begins to break down that permeable mucus lining in your intestines that stores your good bacteria. When you remove the waste during a cleanse, you are uncovering a weaken permeable lining that has been letting toxins into your blood stream. Now you cleanse. During the cleanse you are rebuilding that lining. Have you seen what milk does if you leave it out too long? You don't want that in your body, honey is a living organism and mushrooms are a fungus...don't want those in their either until that lining is restored and that should make it obvious why alcohol is harmful during the cleanse, it's a pure toxin. By the end of your cleanse, this getting rid of what doctors are starting to recognize as Leaky Gut.

Mid Morning:
Before I let myself get hungry unsweetened banana chips and water is much easier

Todays lunch was brief because of the busy day I had so, another meal replacement shake is in order. So glad these shakes are so good for me!
