I use icing color for a really, really rich color. Using 6 glass cups, I seperated my cake mix into 6 separate containers and added all the classic rainbow colors...
while singing...Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple...

Just spoon a 1/2 tablespoon of each color into the cupcake cups, one layer right on top of the next. It comes out alot nicer than the jello did. :)

We all starred in awe at my psychedelic looking cupcakes.
Then we opened one up!
My friend Jenny had more fun eating the colorful creation than actually tasting it I think.
