A New Blog: On The Lap of a Parent!

Many of my readers may not know that I have started Grad School.  My degree will be a Education Specialist in Reading.  So, for two reasons I have started a new blog.
1.  Because I think there needs to be a good website out there for encouraging parents to read to their children, EVERYDAY!
2. Ultimately down the road I may be able to demonstrate one of my expected goals for schools buy maintaining the blog itself.
SO, Introducing...

So, since this is a new blog, it may take time to get it established with readers.
If you are a reader of my HomeSpun blog and you work with children, have young children of your own, expecting a child, have grandchildren, etc
Please Join!

I've set up Feedburner so new posts can be e-mailed to you.
What I want to encourage you to do as a reader is to share the blog, give me your input and share your experiences.

Over time you'll find great tips for enouraging your child to read and reasons you to read to your child.  I'll be posting a button on both this blog and my other that you can swipe and share as well.  Thank you so much for your support!

  2. What a great idea! I am a firm believe in reading every day (however old you are!) and would love to see some tips for encouraging that in kids.

  3. That's awesome! I love reading with my kids and know it is so important. (I have degrees in ELED and SPED.) that's a great focus for blog!

  4. Great idea! I have read to my son every day including the day he was born.
I would suggest that you check your spelling and grammer first though.... :-)
