I picked up these beautifully hot pink candle holders at our local thrift store, I'm sure most people looked at them and thought...TAAAACKKY!  I looked at them and thought...$...how much?  I'll take them!
This is such an easy project, and now you can be on the lookout for beautifully tacky, tea candle holders.  Here's how!
Pick your fabrics...this is a Jennifer Paganelli - Dance with Me-Kalya in Tea...purchased here.
Draw a circle approximately 4.5 inches for a 2 inch tea candle cup.
cut out and thread your needle with really strong thread, I use silk threads.  Tie a knot on one end leaving a tail your can work with, then 1/4" in all the way around stitch.
When you have come to your starting point, you'll want to pull the thread to start forming a ball.

Grab a small handful of polyfil and stuff it inside while pulling the string tighter and tighter
Put a dot of hot glue in the bottom of your cup and insert your fabric ball.
Tie on a pretty ribbon and it's ready!
Now, I made one for me and one for show so that means I have one extra.
Leave me a comment below and make sure I can contact you if you win.
I will pick a winner on Friday, September 4th!
Good Luck!
