These shoes are so sweet. The reason I'm reposting the information about the

is because I've had a few people ask. So, just add yourself as a follower to my blog and then visit the Free Patterns and Tutorials page. I finally broke down and added it. No Strings attached, well maybe a few. Just e-mail me, post a message or send me pictures and let me know you grabbed it.

Thank You so much for your shoe patterns. I have found the Kimono shoe to be a wonderful, and relatively easy project. I am in love with making these shoes. I have also tried your Pleated Ballet (without the pleats) and find this to be a much more difficult project. I am expecting my third baby in about 5 weeks (a girl) and have two young boys at home. I loved your comment about it being a good thing you were given boys as your life would be consumed with "girl projects" - which mine has become, although I am having a wonderful time with them. Once again - Thank You so much. I would upload pics but the files are too big.

Hi Aimee, These are the cutest little shoes and I've just downloaded the pattern but where do you get your fabrics from? They are just to die for especially the green and brown butterfly fabric and the blue and green retro floral one that you have shown. I'd really love to know. I'm always on the hunt for cute fabrics. I downloaded the pattern. These are adorable! Thank you so much for sharing this.
Ive been looking for these for a while. Thank you very much for the pattern! I cant wait to get started!
I think I'm being a bit of a plank, but here goes :) When do I sew the back of the tops together. Or should I have cut out the top pattern against the fold of the fabric!
Thank you for sharing these little booties.
Susie
These shoes are so cute and I was looking forward to making several pairs. However the pattern and instructions are rubbish - I've cut out all the parts and there is no way they will fit together as shown in the drawings. The photos show the tops as one piece - I have 2 pieces based on the pattern. :(
When put together correctly, they make the exact shoes that are shown above. The tops are one piece with a lining. ; )
When do I sew the tops together? Or, as Susie asks below, do we cut the top pattern against the fold? Maybe there's an updated pattern I'm missing?
Obrigada por compartilhar ;)
Love love love these booties. I have a 2 month old girl. They would look awesome on her. Thank you!! Victoriabarnette1@yahoo.com
thanks
Pattern is great, but it seems that the top piece needs to be cut on a fold, this is not made clear in your pattern or instructions, I only realized this was the case after I'd cut my pattern pieces because I looked at the photos at the end of your tutorial.
I came across this issue as well. It is not clear at all in the instructions but it seems the top piece needs to be cut on a fold. You could get around having two pieces by sewing the 2 top pieces (right sides together) along the back seam to create one piece.
